A FE 302 is better than a Chevy 305...by a long shot. One of the s**ttiest motors made IMO.

And I'm a GM guy.

Yeah well you cant beat a complete rebuildable 305 for 20 bucks can you. I got it from a friend of my dads. Its just a stock build with a nitrous cam. It will be seeing lots of spray after I find a truck for it. Gonna put it in an S10. I have a 350 that I got for free but it might need a new crank. We will see tho.

A 350 with a bad crank (for free) still ain't a bad deal.

Well I dont know if Im gonna keep my 305. What do you guys think I could get for a completely rebuilt 305 longblock with intake and exhaust manifolds. Im looking at buying and S10 SS. Its a 94 with the CPI motor. It has an intake and exhaust with no cat and the tranny has a shift kit. The guy wants 2500 for it.
