Default Boston guy here...

Hello all...

Been thinking of buying a Mustang GT...always wanted one, have had 4 Camaros in years past, 81, 89, 95, 96, then got into Jeeps, then motorcycles, have an R6, which I'll still ride but want to make the ride to work fun in the morning so nothing like a healthy roar of a V8 to assist :-)

Am thinking anywhere from a 96 to a 00...something with under 75K miles, 5 spd, black, maybe red, silver are the preferred colors...17" rims a must, don't care for the smaller ones...anyone know of a good buy out there drop me a line...I am in Boston and willing to travel hmmmmmm say 200 miles...

just so you know, Mello is a babe! and she knows her s**t about Mustangs, too! her spelling could use a little work though! I agree with Mello, go for a 5.0, there's plenty of them available and the go fast parts are readily available too.

hi boston, i'm from around that area, cape cod. go for a 5.0, i just bought a 94 5.0, and love it. i used to own a bike too i had a 99 ninja 600r with stage 2 jet kit, full exhaust, k and n filter, after market gears for wheelies, clear lenses all the way around, smoked out wind screen. till some *ss cut me off and totalled my bike. but what ever i got a stang with the insurance money, girlfriend was to scared of the bikes. nothing as fast as a bike. but aanyway, get a 5 liter, and if your ever on the cape look for the blue 5 liter rippin' it up. sean

Hypereutic pistons are fine unless you start adding boost from a turbo or supercharger. If you leave naturally aspirated, you shouldn't have any problems.
