I have been looking to buy a 98 GT because I like the body style and I believe the 98 had increased hp from 215 for the 97. I just found a really nice 97 GT in my price range but I am hesitant to buy it. Is the difference in hp that noticeable? Are there any other differences that could sway my decision?

there was a hp jump from 95 to 96 GT's and Cobra's... But between 97 and 98 I dont think there was quite a difference if any....
Nothing really changed in the car until 99`.... 97`'s are nice, but your talking to a 5.0 gal Id go with 95 and earlier......
