Default Another Newbie

Hey Everyone! Just another newbie to the forums here I've always been an import owner (Talon then Eclipse), and just recently got rid of my eclipse b/c I was sick of making all those dreaded car payments....well my sister has her old 95 mustang in REAL good condition for the amount of miles on it that I may be buying from her since she just got a newer (like '02) mustang convertible on ebay..

Anyways, Just wondering what kinds of things there are to do to these cars? I'm used to the import scene, and I'm definitely not into that whole ricer look! I love the look of the mustangs and would love to fix this car up and give her a new paint job and what not to make her my own...just not sure if it'll be worth it for the miles..... Almost 200k! even though surprisingly it's running strong.

any suggestions on how to get the most out of it, or generally how long these cars would last?

Welcome to MF. With almost 200K i dont think it would be worth modding. Is it a GT or a V6??

It's just a v6....I've always had a 4 cylinder so it'll be a nice change if/when I get it...or maybe I'll hold off and get a newer one from a dealer?

I doubt I'd go all out modding it, probably just paint, rims, little things here and there, nothing major..... Can't wait to learn more about these cars and decide what to do

Thanks! Glad to see another girl around these parts

I"m driving my sisters newer (02 or 03) convertible...it's real nice, but definitely not in the price range I want to be in right now...that'll come after I get the financing for my house!!!
