Greetings and my intro
Hi everyone.
Forums seem to be the place to be these days so here I am.
Just got my first new Mustang in more years than I'll admit but the wait was more than worth it.
I have been enjoying motorcycling for the past 7 years and have owned my ...
for 7 years. For the record that is the longest I've ever owned any vehicle (avg. is 2 years) - I've been driving for 30+ years...you do the math on how many vehicles that must be.
There comes a time when life changes occur. Some are extreme others are not, DUH!! Mine was and wasn't.[>:]
In reevaluating the road interests the conclusion was reached that a sports car would be the only suitable replacement for my HD.
So begin the search.
Driving through the locals dealerships I was getting information overload about what was available and out there to look at and drive. I drove everything that had a ragtop. Porsche, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi....everything that was on the lot and had keys.
I can say from my personal experience and my personal opinion that the Mercedes topped the list of cool and everything that falls under it. That was the car of choice but for $65,000 it wasn't the only option. Thank GOD!!!!
So evaluating all aspects from all cars I decided on this ...
Now keep in mind that I just picked it up the day before this picture was taken. I didn't take it or I would have NOT faced the sun. But the guy just brought the camera out and snapped it. He sent it to me in an email. So not even knowing he was doing any of that and the fact that it didn't cost me anything, I think I got a good deal on the picture.
I will have more pics to post once I get the "ordered but not received" updated parts and accessories installed. Until then I'm going to run around this forum and admire everyone else's rides.

Sorry guys/gals. I see I broke my links in my initial posts. That's what I get for thinking after the fact.
I've completed a few mods with a few more on the way.
I've added the side stripe which started out as a dealer blunder. (looooong story[:@]) So now I'm left with the fix it project.
So for starters I've added the grille insert to replace the pony grille the dealer said he could install at no charge. Everyone but the dealer knew about this deal.
Here's a before and after. I suppose some won't like it but I do. Sad part to this deal is I'm the only one who can't see it.
As I add the other items, (waiting for shipping, should be here tomorrow) I'll do some more before and after shots.
