alright so here is a little about me. im 21 from a little town in GA called rossville. I work at a lincoln mercury dealership.

about the car: its a 1999 mustang V6. the ^ is blown up and im in the middle of a V8 swap. first i am setting up the car, then ill build the motor. ther rear end is out getting 9" housing ends installed, when it gets back the car will be setup.

Mods:
QA1 chrome-moly Tubular K-member, QA1 tubular A-arms, Flaming River manual rack kit, Lakewood 90/10 struts, UPR coilovers w/ eibach springs, UPR "shark" camber/caster plates, no front sway bar, UPR sub-frame connectors, JEGS Torque box supports, UPR upper and lower rear control arms, Lakewood 50/50 shocks, Moroso "trick" drag springs, 1996 GT 8.8, Motive 4.10 R&P, custom made (from moser blanks) 33-spline axles, moser full spool, and moser 9" housings (PN7700 for my factory rear disc).

the ENGINE (not set in stone yet, just the blue prints of what i want):
1978 351w block .030 over, "football" rods, SCAT 3.850 crank, SRP forged dish pistons, AFR 185cc heads (with valve stem upgrade), 10.5-11:1 compression ratio, Hooker super comp 1 3/4" swap long tube headers, 7qt oil pan (havent decided on brand yet), CATpower main girdle, Lunati "voodoo" cam (Advertised Duration: 284° /292° Duration @ .050 IN/EX: 241° /249° Gross Valve lift IN/EX .560'/.582'
LSA and ICL 110/106 RPM Range: 2500-6600), full roller rockers (again havent decided on brand), Edelbrock victor jr intake, Holley 750 carb, MSD ignition. SLP loudmouth exhaust, BBK offroad X-pipe.

i will be using a 5 spd transmission (until it shatters), i am looking for 7.0's (1/8th mile) but have been told this should be a mid 6's setup. i may even spray it with about a 100 shot. the project (known as project 3.8 mistake) is on a strick budget ($8k) so far i have spent about $3500. All of the work is being done by a co-worker and I (well actually im doing it all, he is just supervising me). The rear end is being built by us, but I had to send it off to have the ends replaced and the axle tube stitch welded to the housing. the same guy doing the housing work is the same guy who made my axles, he is a 4X4 specialist, and is cutting me good deals to try and get more local work in his shop. ($150 to modify my housing he is suppling the ends: $250 for both axles w/the 9" bearings already installed). well thats about it, want to know more, just ask.

Welcome, sbm. I'm sure you can both get and give some great advice on the forum.

Welcome to the forum. I'm from GA too. Where's Rossville? I'm from the Warner Robins area.
