Hello everyone. Another n00b here saying hello. The name is Harlan, Currenty living in New Orleans. you can see from my name I have a silver 96 LT1 camaro. I signed up to gain some expierence on mustangs. There are a lot of them around here and it would be nice to know a little more. I am a mechanic at a small shop that seems to have a few mustangs pop in. Maybe I can get some answers here as well and answer some questions myself

96Z 60K miles. M6, Moser 12 bolt rear, 33 spline eaton posi, 4.11 gears, performance cover, TQ arm, SLP loudmouth, LPE CAI, 160 thermo, !AIR, !EGR, fan switch, PCMforless, LT4KM, ugh... thats all I can think of at 1am. soon to have a spec stage 2 clutch to replace the stock slipping one. Till I get my sig up here is a link to my mods, pics, descriptions etc etc i'm still adding all the mods to the page but I have most of it up there..

Thanks for the welcome fellow Fbody'er. I hope I get to learn a few more things on the stangs. Like I said there are a lot around here and I being a mechanic around here means that the more I know about them the better I can fix them.

 

Nice car! I just got a 98 chrome yellow cobra with 18, 000 miles on it. 4:10 gears, auburn posi, bassani exhaust w/ headers, springs,cold air intake, shifter!!

 

I see very few yellow stangs around here. so far the only one I have seen was a Mach 1. I like the yellow man

 

Welcome: The only thing you realy need to know about Mustangs is THEY ROCK!!! lol

 

they only made 705 in 98 and there are VERY few here as well so its something different....

 

or sure they rock but i already did know that ricers suck

 

All the mustangs that come to me are broke, so not only do they not rock, they don't roll very well either Last one I worked on was a 5.0 never body GT that needed a water pump and radiator. before that I swaped out a rear end on a fox body.

 

Sounds like a LOT of fun too!!!!!!!!!!!!
