Default chip upgrade

I have a 93 GT. Tons of mods, still stock block and piston. Don't have a chip. Do i really need one. I can adjust my own fuel pressure and timing.

Hi and welcome to the forums. The answer to both of your questions are yes. There are a few programmers out there that will give you the ability to tailor your timing by a certain percent and also change your fuel enrichment up or down. You can do so much more than this with hypertech and the predator tuners though!

With most programmers you can even raise your rev-limiter to allow for deeper shifts and even change shift setting for tighter shifts! Moreover, programmers like the predator even have diagnostic scan tools built in which can detect exactly how your car is set up and will tune it to run better with the aftermarket parts you have installed and you can always go back to your factory setting if you wish. Great horsepower add on!

Hope this helps...
