I wish I could say that I'm joining under happy pretenses, but instead I'm looking for help!!!
I recently acquired a beautiful garage-kept '94 Mustang convertible. With beautiful black leather Mustang embroidered seats, great sound system and all the bells and whistles. A car you find in your dreams, if you're lucky! Then my husband drove it!! Wrapped my "dream car" around a palm tree.... the tree's fine and so is my husband. To my surprise, the car runs fine, as awesome as it did before the crash. But it's defenitely an eyesore. Went to the first specialized Mustang body shop I found, and I don't know what they were smoking, but they told me I needed $5,000 to fix the passenger side door [:@]('cause that's really all that's wrong with it and the floor panel, slightly). So, with all these Mustang fans, one of you's gotta know a place in Ft. Lauderdale, or surrounding area, that's dependable and more affordable to fix my little baby. Unfortunately, should I not find one, I might have to sell it, which I really don't want to do. So, pretty please, with a cherry on top, any advise will be better than what I've gotten so far. Look forward to hearing from ya!!! C ya around the forum!!!

Welcome to the forums and I'm glad to hear that everyone is ok and the car is salvageable.

Oh, yeah... forgot to mention: He's not insured!!! HA, he's not even licensed. Partially my fault, yes, but if you can't handle the heat, stay off the pedal!! Needless to say, he's not driving ANYTHING but he's feet!!!

Sorry about your car... I cant recommend any particular place, cuz im not from your area... take the car to several different locations an get estimates... I would include a ford dealership in there also... The one you got seems a bit high... Good luck...
