RE: Need advice
Well if you havent bought one yet, i'd go for a V8. The 94 GT seems like an easier fix. Look around tho, theres tons of mustangs being sold, even if you have to wait a few months to get one, it would prolly be worth it. Where you located ?

RE: Need advice
The 3.8's that are in the mustangs/t-birds/taurus's/windstar etc are prone to head-gasket failure. It usually fails around the 100k mark. The 3.8 in my dads t-bird failed at 111k. Its a pretty easy fix.
As for which car to buy, the GT is an overall better car. The 302, in stock or mild build form are VERY relaible and damn near bullet proof. In the long run I think youd be happier with the GT. Even though the initial repair would cost more. Unless you prep the car yourself and take it to Maaco to get it painted.
