A sickness
Hello All,
Alas I am afraid I may have been exposed to this sickness called Mustang. Just a few weeks ago, on a Sunday around 10pm my wife & I were looking for a "moderate" car to drive to and from work. We were surprised that our local Ford dealership was even open and we were approached by a very tired salesman...
After looking at the econo boxes we came across an 06 Vista Blue GT with white stripes in the showroom. When asked, the salesman said it was the last one they had and was amazed it hadn't already sold. Ford was giving a ridiculous interest free deal on all 06's. The GT was stunning and fully optioned. Years ago in the early 70's, as a high schooler I had a shot at a dark green 350 GT but my parents thought it was "to much of a car" for me. So I lost out. Well, this time I didn't lose out, the GT now lives in our garage.
Already the "improvement" bug has bitten me...It already sports a Steeda short throw shifter and a set of AutoMeter guages in a pillar pod. Next is the exhaust and free flow air filter...followed in short time by some suspension mods. I'm looking forward to learning all I can about my new ride and will look to those of you here with the knowledge and experiences on owning this true American muscle car.
So that's the story...here I am.
Stay Safe.
