New Guy
Hello everyone. I'm 29, work in the auto glass industry and am a volunteer firefighter. Currently I don't have a Mustang, I have a 00 Jeep Wrangler. Hopefully next week it will be sold so I can buy my friends Mustang. I've been reading the forum here for a couple weeks now trying to expand my knowlege of cars, mustangs in particular. All I ever had were chevy cars to play with when I got my licsense. I can tell ya anything ya want to know about a 97+ Jeep though. Anyway, just wanted to say hey, be prepared for stupid noob questions. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Thanks guys! Here is a pic of the car.
It's a 85 GT, mods include....
new block, rods and crank, forged pistons, HV oil pump, CSI electric water pump, Comp cams XE294, Mac 1 3/4 long tubes, custom x pipe, dynomax race bullets with turn downs, Fox lake stage 1 canfields, Manley s/s valves, Manley pushrods, Crane gold race rockers, Victor jr intake, BG silver claw carb,MSD digi 6 distributor, Motorsports wires, Mallory coil, Hal tube k-member, Lakewood 90/10 struts, new flaming river manual rack & steering arm, new brakes, sub frame connectors, southside machine bars, S&W 8 point cage, alum drive shaft, 8.8 with moser 31 spline axle shafts, c-clim elim, Auburn pro posi, 4.10's, LPW cover w/ tube braces, Autometer guages, Pro 5.0 shifter, Weld 10X15 & 5x15 wheels, BFG drag radial rears, Slicks mounted to other wheels, Eibach rear springs with air bag, 4cyl front springs, Motorsports clutch, Harwood 2 1/2 " lift off hood plus a bounch of other misc parts.
It's a little rough around the edges but the whole drivetrain has been rebuilt and I think it will make a nice "toy".
I'll post a pic of my Jeep if anyone cares to see it. LOL
Edited pic size. But I suck at it so now you can't barely see it.. LOL

I have a CJ-7 waiting for me in Florida-- can't wait to move there and offroad that baby one day.
Welcome to the forum. What kinda stang are you looking at?

Thanks for the welcomes. Jeeps are fun and offroading is a blast. I'm just looking for a change. Here in Pa it's getting increasingly difficult to find legal places to wheel. Most of the time it's a 2+ hour ride to legal trails. CJ-7's are pretty cool. I've always liked the 5's too. Here's a link to some of my Jeep pics. Dial up beware... click me

Hey grimace, welcome to the boards, I have 1998 jeep wranger. Go check it out. The pictures of me are a year old so dont make fun of me to bad. I was a solid 205 in those pics, now im 220 and going ^ . BTW, the jeep looks exactly the same now, Ive only put 3000 miles on it sense ive had it. The lift and everything has less than 2000 miles on it.

Looks good man. Swamper SSR's are a good tire. What rear axle do you plan on swapping in? I put a Dana 44 in mine, Detroit locker and 4.88 gears. Goes pretty good now. Ford 8.8's are getting to be common swaps in Jeeps now...imagine that.
