Default Made the change from Corvette

Well I have always been a Corvette man. I have a major serious diecast collection and have owned several. My son has always liked Mustangs and I could never get him converted to Corvettes, so I finally gave in and traded my Corvette for him an 05 GT with lot's of cool stuff although, I'm not really sure what all of it is except some kind of body kit, 20 inch Foose wheels, lots of Steeda stuff, Borla exhaust and a stereo you can hear from a mile away. You will all have to help me out, because I am really dumb about Mustangs. Iam even a Moderator on a top Corvette Forum, so this is really a big deal to me. I gave up my Corvette for a Mustang!!!!!!! I love my son, and truth be told, I love his car! I could become a serious Mustang nut really easy after driving this car. It is the ****! Anyway, I'll be around trying to learn some things from you guys and have included some pics. Thanks for listening! Funny thing is, at his school, they went more bonkers over this car than if I had bought him a new Corvette!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks! Can you enlighten me on the body kit or why there is a Steeda crossbrace in the engine compartment? Stability maybe?

don't know about the body kit..... the crossbrace would be for stability and to stiffen it up.... you should post any questions you have in the 2005,2006,2007 mustang section ... i'm sure they'll be able to help you in there more than i can... good luck

If it makes you feel any better I never thought I'd never own a Mustang until I drove the retro Mustang. I had a C4 and C5 previously. I'm happy withtheMustang, just because I wanted a change.

Got to admit though, if you add enough mods, you might as well have bought a Corvette.
