Default hi..quick question

hi, i'm brand new to this site. I am looking for a 2003 with a V8, got under $13ish with under 40,000 miles on it. This would be my first mustang, do you have any advice to give. I'm open to all suggestions

Welcome to the forums. If you already have something in mind, recommend you take some pics (if you can), the repost in the 1996-2004 section for feedback. Folks there are great!

Welcome to MF.

Not sure what type of advice you're looking for, but getting a GT over a V6 is a good start. A 5 speed over an auto would also be wise, 10X more fun to drive.

I picked up a 2003 v6 yesterday. I don't know how to drive a stick, so it's a automatic. I took it to a shop today got a new fuel filter, air filter, oil filter, and everything drained. They also looked over the whole car for me since it's my first one I have bought myself (i'm only 19) Also, today I ordered some 20's http://www.twentyinchesstrong.com/ number 07 they looked pretty cool I can not wait!

Hello,
Whether you are in the 05-07 section or the 2003 section welcome to the forums! I have 20's as well and I love them as I am sure you will too! I took a peek at the ones you ordered and they should look great on your car. V-6 is fine too.....many guys have very strong opinions about these cars so if there is any bashing in this thread or others that you make don't worry as it is only opinions on here and sometimes you actually get real good advice backed up with real facts! Nice idea but doesn't happen that way all the time. They might be nice and give a friendly answer because you are of the opposite sex! Anyway take care and have fun with that first car bought yourself!
