Hey all i just got my 03 GT about a month ago and ive already put a superchip micro tuner in it and i have some 40 series flows on it what else can i do since its a new car im trying to be carefull on the things i do to it like i dont want to be shooting nos right of the bat but i just need little info on what i can do to pep things up a bit
Yea....go 4.10 gears, underdrive pullies, a free flowing mid-pipe, short throw shifter, and then supercharge that sumina-bitch. Kinda sucks that you bought a chip so soon. Yer gonna end up having to get another one once you get new gears or N20 or S/C. Dont worry about the intake part of yer engine till you get a free-er flowing exhaust. It would be pointless to stuff all that air into yer engine if you cant push it out.
i have to agree with the majority... gears will be ur biggest bang for buck because the 281 loves to spin pretty high.. u neglected to say if it was a stick or an auto.. if its auto 4.10s.. 5 speed 3.73s...next id say go with steedas timing adjuster... timing is a beautiful thing if u learn to do it.. and i garantee u will use it more than not to tune ur combo.. next if its auto get a shift kit.. transgo makes a good one.. and if u can afford it a higher stall converter.. precision industries is numero uno... if its a stick just get a short throw.. the triax or the pro 5.0 is good. then u can do the whole pulleys, intake, throttle body... then u need to have ur chip reburnt.. chips should be installed after everything else to maximize the changes made.. after that and the speed bug has bitten.. get ur heads ported and buy a bullitt intake.. and n2o or supercharge her.. good luck
