<FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Hi;</FONT></P>

I need help understanding this Programmer, I have a 2001 GT Bullitt 4.6L V8 (STOCK). Would there be benifits if I purchase and is it worth it? I have done some research on it on the web, I need actuall facts from you guys. What are the pros and cons? (I have not done any mods to the Pony...YET!)</P>

I just need to know if it will work for a stock car? Thanks in advance!<IMG src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0"></P>

I don't have a "Hypertech", but I bought one made by "superchips" and I love it. I have an '02 Gt, and I definitely feel an "in the seat difference" after installing it. After a while though, you start to feel like your car is slow, so I always return it back to stock settings for a few days, get used to that , then go back to performance tuning.

it'll help you some, but will be more effective after you've done a few performance mods, so i'd hold on to the money and use that for pulleys and an intake, gearsor something of that sort.

Thanks guys for the quick response........I might go ahead and do the exhaust system from headers and cat back. Also cold air intake. Any reasonable online stores considering the price.Best bang for my buck, because prices in Toronto are insane.</P>

Any recomendations on exhaust systems? </P>

try ebay before you pay retail, for headers look into MAC, BBK, Bassani... these places also make X and H pipes....and for cat back go with flowmasters or magnaflows.</P>

yeah, definitely get some mods done first. I'd do exhaust, then maybe change your gear ratio, then i'd go for the programmer. That's similar to what I did, though it's hard to remember. But you WILL notice a slight difference....<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

I've never fully understood the full difference between Bullitt, &amp; GT , except, the fuel door cap, and the minus of a spoiler/wing. Can someone shed some light on this? I've yet to have seen one of these.... <edited><editID>Flaming pony</editID><editDate>37841.4022569444</editDate></edited>
