Hey people. My name is Robert. I currently drive a 1997 Honda Accord LX, and am currently looking for a Cobra. I am new to Mustangs and hope to learn as much as I can about this car.

I have some questions as to what type of defects to look for when buying a Cobra. What type of defects (motor and tranny-wise) are common among these cars. What would be considered high milage in a car like this?

I look forward to a good future with this car.

 

welcome to the boards here! Any of the Cobra's are good cars, and the engines stay strong as well (well not compared to a Honda ) I'd say just look to make sure it hasn't been beat on too hard. Mmmm my car loves a good beating [:-]

 

well thats good to hear...Im going to check out this 1996 Cobra w/ 115k on it this weekend. Ill keep posted how it goes...BTW thanks for the help.
