Hello all new to this site!!!! My Little Brother Just bought a 19881 Ford Mustang 5.0. It had a really bad Universal joint which they replaced. They hd the rear f the car jacked up for an hour or so. It is full of tranny fluid, yet all of a sudden, he says it has plenty of power in first gear, but it quickly skips thru 2 and 3rd gear straight into overdrive. When he hits the gas to pass it stays in overdrive and seems to labor. Any advice on what could be causing this? Its an automatic, he says AOD, 1988 5.0. 176,000 miles on it!
