FINALLY!
Hello everyone! After years of dreaming I finally belong to a mustang. Thought I would join the forums here so I'll be able to get some advice from those with more experience when I need it!
As for the 'stang, she's an almost rust-free(rear quarters haveto go)1966 coupe (nightmist blue), 289 4V HiPo,shelby exhaust and sheis LOUD (glasspacks are like sweet candy to me). The engine isnot original (the car was a T-code I-6 from the factory), so I'mnot too concerned with keeping everything else original or stock. Resto-mod for certain.
The paint you see in the pics is the original factory paint. It's actually peeling in a few spots you can't see which is a shame because it would be so sweet to be able to keep the first coat of paint ever to touch the car... /sigh.
At any rate, I don't want to ramble on in my first ever post. Just wanted to drop everyone a line and let you guys know I'm glad to be here! FINALLY

RE: FINALLY!
Thanks for the warm welcome! And for the compliments... your 'Stangs are looking sweet as hell too. I thought about getting an new one, because the combination of power and styling is beyond fantastic, and the new 3v 4.6 is unreal, but then this deal came along and I couldn't pass it up.
Plus I already got a 2v 4.6 in my Explorer... and even driving that monster around I stillcrush the imports ("crush" quite literally - last year I got into a head-onaccident with a SuzukiXL-7 and it wentright to the junkyard; I could still drive my Explorer). I've actually toyed with the idea of getting a Paxton Novi 1000 or 2000 put on it, but I'd like to hear from some members who might have had experience with them first... but I guess I should ask that in the tech forums!!
Thanks again for the welcome!

RE: FINALLY!
Thanks to everyone for making me feel like a real member of the community!
As for Speedjunkie92, there's a spot under the text box to click and embed images in the post (I just learned how myself!), but I can't seem to get the one for a sig or icon to display properly - so you're beating me there!
