my names jami. i am from oklahoma. i am 18 and in college. me and my husband own a 2001 mineral gray v-6 mustang with flowmasters and 17' chrome rims. well we bought and aftermarket fiberglass hood (a black widow 3 hood) and the best possible fit makes the hood stick up about 1 1/2" taller than the fenders. so it looks like the hood is not latched but it is. the seller on ebay will not reply to my emails. what should i do about this problem? we were supposed to get the hood painted from a friend on friday but this is delaying the painting process. can a body shop bend or reshape this some how?

welcome to the forums. good luck with the ebay problem. i went thru a nightmare ordeal with a dumb Barbie Doll on there for my neice. The seller had jacked the price way up and come to find out I got it at Walmarts here for alot less cheddar. well needless to say she got some bad feedback. My neice got her Collector item. A birthstone Barbie.
they have alot of good bargains but I was always taught if its too good to be true then it actually is..

Just because she's havin a prob with the hood doesn't mean it's the ebBay seller's fault [&:] Im not positive but I think the hoods for V6 models & GT's are different because of the front bumper.
