Just ordered...
Just ordered an 07 GT this weekend.. Can't wait for it to come in! Been a diehard GM man for most of my life and the only other Ford I've ever had was an 84 T-bird, butI hafta say, Ford got this one very VERY right.
Can anyone point me at some good Technical info on the 4.6? I've spent the last few years buried in LSx engines, and ready to start playin with the Mod motors now

So what did you order? What color? I am waiting on the arrival of my Vista Blue GT w/ GT app package, Auto (due to knee surgery...) Int ugrade, charcoal leather, comfort group and 18 " polished aluminum rims. -- I ordered on Feb 5th and just got the news from the 800 number that the car has been "released" from the manufacturing plant. It's supposed to get to the dealer some time this week!! I am soo excited. It's not my first Ford, had a 97 Explorer and still have an '03.
My husband is pretty much a GM man, but I think he will like this car a real lot. As you said "they got this one right!"
My Dad got his '07 V6 Pony in February the same day I ordered my GT.
Hope your wait is not as long as mine!!!

I ordered Torch Red GT, and kept it pretty basic, as it seemed like most of the options were for things that I will be replacing soon anyway. Kept the manual trans so the wife won't drive it. The only real option I got was the 3.55 gears and I got the polished 17" rims, so I have a half decent set of winter wheels. Already have a stereo system for it, so no need for the Mach setups.I hate leather interior (makes me sweat sitting in it). Everything else I wanted was pretty much standard equipment, so I got lucky

I'm not planning on any major mods, so what I got is what I'm gonna have. Called the Ford 800 number today and they said the car is on the carrier...... now just gotta wait for it to get here in NJ from Michigan. Yippee!!
By the way , I LOVE the torch red....but I have had so many red cars and my Explorer is redfire metallic... so we went with Vista Blue ,
