Welcome. A poll is when you ask people to vote on different things. Is a way to get their opinion on lets say...which wheels to get or which exhaust system is louder. You select the items you want the folks to vote on. When you construct a poll, you will have a space to write up some word. A post allows you to begin a new thread (meaning a subject or topic) on anything that interest you or you want to share with others. Recommend you go to the test section on the front page and play in there for a bit before you go out to the main forums pages. Hope I did not confuse you.
