Hello! Awesome site!
Hello, I am new here but not in the Mustang community. Currently have a 1997 Mercury Cougar 30th Anniversary Edt., same engine as the Mustang GT's and as fast. Also has Independent Ride Suspension and traction control. Used to have two mustangs, '83 blue with white top 'vert and a red '86 GT. Have young three kids and did a cross country move from California to Virginia, so bye bye went my mustang. Three cars seats just didn't seem to fit my mustang
So please don't hold my Cougar against me. It is a sweet ride, and I will be posting pics soon. I am in the market for a 'Notchback mustang 5.0L.

Actually, it is still stock for now. Haven't decided whether or not to keep it or sell it or what. I would love to get another Mustang, but this car is a sweet ride and I woul dhate to let it go. In fact, "knock on wood", its the most reliable car I have ever had. IF I do keep it, I plan on upgrading the MAF to a Pro-M with 30lb injectors, Magnaflow exhaust, change out the Cats with High Flow Metal'Cats and maybe some electronics. I would like to get my 220HP up towards 300HP without using a blower or NOS. May have to get some heads
Suggestions are always welcome. It has the standard GT engine for the 97 timeframe 4.6L 2V.
Thanks,
-Tom
