Greetings.
Hi all. Im going to be buying a Mustang within the next year. I am looking for the fastest car for the cheapest price I can find. Any tips on what year/model I should look for? I was thinking a mid-80s 5.0 would be a good start, and I can probly find one for under 3k dollars. any advice beyond this?

Welcome... This is the best forums of all , and for you ? you can probally find a nice stocker around a 90 model are earlier for aroudn 3,000, you msut be looking to hot rod yourself right? If so what kinda mods you lookign to do?

yah the plan is to make a racer out of it. I already own a truck that I use for day to day driving (dodge dakota). Ill be using the mustang for fun. some of the mods im looking forward to doing are a cold air intake and exhaust. after that ill be doing paint and rims, and some nice shocks and springs. a limo tint would be nice also. Ill probly gut the interior to lighten up the weight a bit. what else types of mods do people like to do? maybe port&polish the heads?
