New car

I just picked up a 1973 fastback with a 302 for $950. I think i got a great deal, the car runs and is still has the original interior. The one thing that has me concerned is that it has a taping noise comming from one of the heads, it also has an exhaust leak. Finaly, it will not pass smog. I live in Las Vegas and the state still requires me to smog it. I will provide pictures soon.

P.S does anyone have any suggestions on what components to rebuild my engine with? I would like a daily driver with the occassional track visit
