Newbie from Michigan!
Hello all,
I joined so that I could have a place to go for mustang issues. I had actually tried another site...but it was dedicated to mod motors. I figured joining one of these sites would be easier than just searching the web, but who knows. This site and the other one came up often in my search as it is. Anyway, I have a 91 mustang coupe. Originally a 4 banger, with the ugly 14" rims. It now sports turbines, with a complete 86 GT drivetrain. MAC cold air and C and L seventy something MAF sensor housing (though i havent completed the MAF conversion yet). Mac shorty unequal headers and Summit cat-less H-pipes, with 2 chamber delta force flowmasters. Underdrive pulleys, no AC or air pump stuff. Soon an aluminum driveshaft
.

I dont know how to search this question that I have. I tried, but didnt get much in return. I put on E7 heads (had the E6's on it). Has anyone ever heard of a problem doing this on a 86 engine with stock inner components (pistons/valves/cam). I ask cause after I finished it, the car ran better than before, but had a vacuum leak. I fixed that, but now the car doenst want to accelerate past 2000RPM's. It boggs down REAL bad. Has anyone heard of this problem before either? I cant imagine it being the heads
