First-timer Please be gentle :-)
Inherited a '66 from the estate of my grandmother. The car is a totally stock coupe witha 289 4bbl and a C4, 37k on the clock (and climbing). ;-)
The only options I can see are air-conditioning and front disc brakes. The car was sitting in my grandparent's garage since my grandmother parked it for the last time in '95 or '96. She drove it until she was 79 and my grandfather drove it until he was 85. Once i got all the dust and grunge off, new tires, brakes, shocks, and a coat of wax on, it doesn't look, or drive, half bad. Will need some minor bodywork and a new paint job.
Obviously some storage snafus have cropped up. I'll need to re-do the suspension rubber and possible the front springs and I will also have to figure out what I want to do with the air-conditioning unit. Have it modified or just keep it attached and non-working. The freon has long since leaked out.
Anyway, nice to see this group is around so I can pick up some ideas and tips _when_ I need them. I will need them, I'm sure. :-)

RE: First-timer Please be gentle :-)
thanks for the kind words. My grandmother's last few months were not happy ones. It's difficult to say but I'm glad the pain and suffering is over.
The Mustang now resides in sunny Ventura, CA.
You all have a good day. We'll be "seeing" you. ;-)
