I just bought a programmer on ebay from a guy who didn't reset the programmer back to factory. The guy sold the car and the new owner won't let him reset the programmer if I send it back. Does anyone know how to reset these programmers or do I send it back to the guy and get my money back?
Please advise ASAP if you know how to help!

 

you can't reset it without removing the tune from the first car. your screwed.

That is the exact reason why I hate ebay.

 

You can call diablosport tech support for help. There is a hidden menu with a password you can get into and completely reset the device.

I had 'issues' with my predator about a year ago. I flashed my Lightning, then later when i wanted to edit the tune, it said the truck had never been flashed. I called James at www.runninwiththedevil.com, he spent 4 hours between me and the guy at diablosport. I learned a lot about how that thing works

Diablosport should be able to help though, if you got a good deal, keep it and reset it...
