66 acode fastback

Howdy all, im new to this forum, it seems like a fantastic one by browsing through it.
I have a question to ask, my car is feb 1966 a acode fastback, auto. What type of pistons should it have, we have just opened the engine up, it has never been opened in its life and it has flat top pistons????? any feedback will be greatly appreciatted

Hi- It depends on the engine, 289-2V - 289 - 4V the 2V has 9.5 to one & the 289- 4V has 10. 1 compression. Hope that helps

Hello,
its a 289 4v a code automatic,
pistons look to be flat tops
