Hey everyone,
My name is Dave and i have a 1986 Gt convertible with 131000. I just picked it up the other day and I must say that now I know what Ive been missing. The V8 power is different considering Ive only messed with 4 banger front wheel drives. The only thing not stock is the water pump because i just put that on today. The plug wires still say 1986 on them. My question is what little things can I do for now that will give the stang a little more power? In a couple of weeks I plan on getting new some new plug wires, plugs, cap, rotor and distributor for starters. Forgive my ignorance but what good aftermarket companies are out there? Well thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums, you should post some pics when you can. As for tech questions, may I suggest the subforums, they'll be happy to give you a wealth of information on your car, and when in the right subforum they can give you even more accurate information.
