Default EEC problems

New to the sight and hope someone can help. My car is a 93 LX 4 cyl. to 5.0 swap. Donor car was my 90 GT. Swapped to 93 engine & comp. harness, ran fine for 8 months then burnt the A9P comp. Put in used A9P 2 weeks ago, ran great for 12 days, fried another computer. Alt. was charging steady 14.5 vdc when 2nd comp. went. Is there something different on a 93 that I don,t know about? Ready to sell the 93 chassis and buy another 90.

Welcome to the forums, I would recommend asking the guys in the 4 cyl subforum and the guys in the 5.0 mustang forum, with the combination I think you should be able to find your answer.

Check ebay for the item you need. Lots of foxbody mustang parts end up their.
