Default newb

Hello all, my name is Wes Norman. I am the proud owner of a 1968 mustang coupe. I bought the car last year and have been building it as time and money allow. So far I have managed to get my hands on a Rebuilt 302 w/ GT40P heads (havn't figured out if that's a good thing or bad thing, headers are a pita to find). The engine is full roller w/ ford racing 1.6 roller rockers. I have sandblasted the intake and valve covers and have gotten loads of new parts for the block. I am staying with the stock C-4 trans. I had bought a t-5 for a conversion but it was just costing too much. The interior has been completly stripped, since one day I'll have a new one to go in. The Body was in pretty sad shape and has had loads of attention. The front fenders have been replace along with all the floor pans and right rear 1/4 panel. All new glass has been installed. The rear end is still a stock 2.83 since I havn't gotten to that part of the car yet. One day I hope I get like a 3.50 . I also own a 1998 Ford Taurus and Have been a member of TCCA (www.taurusclub.com) for the last 2 years. I hope to make as many friends here as I have there. Thanks for your Help in advance!
Wes

Welcome to the forums. Sounds like it is going to be quite a stang when you are all finished. Is your taurus an SHO? Good luck with the restoration.

No my Taurus is an SE with 24V DOHC. It's got a few mods and held it's own with SHO's, but that dream is over. It was totaled on 2-13-05 because some dumbass pulled in front of me . Oh well **** happens. I just get all excited when I think about all the new toys I'm gonna get for my stang w/ the money their gonna pay me!!!!
