First Car

RE: First Car
If you want speed then go with a GT if you can afford rather than supercharge.
BTW it seems like you got a steal on that car if the title is clear for like $3500-$4000 under retail value, well in location at least.
This is what I did. My first car was a 2000 v6. I bought it for $6500. I drove it for two years while saving some money. After two years and 13,000 miles later I sold it for $7000 and bought a GT.
Right now you could turn a huge profit if you sold you car.

RE: First Car
If u wanted to s/c it your looking 3,460 just for supercharger kit, thats the smaller one up to 9 psi of boost, dont go over that. If you go with the tuner kit you will have to get new injectors chip...etc. your looking around 4,000 for that...this paticular s/c is very easy to install...the only thing i have is that of the space issue, but other then that u dont have to pop a hole in oil pan,....and all that..but for v8 ur looking easy 3,000-4,000 for motor maybe trani, hard to say...but u will have to change ur ecu gauges, i think there is a conversion kit though. I believe you have the 8.8 rear end. So its basic stuff, motor mounts rad, motor, ecu, gauges, trani, and bam u got a nice ride

uhh...i think i'll just save my money
i'm still in high school here fellas, not making that great of money
i'll probably just save and sell the car and make a profit on it and then buy a GT...then start afresh from there
