FORD CONVERT!
Hey, Dan here. Bought my 07 GT back in May on my birthday and am loving every minute of it! I have been an import guy for a long time due to the American manufacturers letting me down with quality and style. The S197 has changed that perception! My sister got hers back in January and I thought she was loosing her mind. She owned a pristine 03 SVT Focus previously and then got the Mustang as a return gift upon coming home from Iraq for hopefully the last time. Like I said, I havent been too kean on the American vehicles for some time and, working with and having driven every exotic there is, I became a fan of Porsche and M3's (not that they have a big reliability record) and drive a very dependable 95 Toyota Tacoma with 225,000miles and the same, never leaking, motor! Well, she took me for a test drive... If there is any American car out there that has the feel of a 911... the Mustang is it! I instantly fell in love with this car and had to find out more. I am now the proud owner of an 07 GT in Tungsten Grey. I have done a couple of slight mods with TEIN 2" drop coils, 20" F5 rims, the upper billet came with the car, and a B&M Shortshift kit. Future plans call for the Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates and adjustable panhard bar to correct for the drop, an WMS ram air intake with larger MAF and the Saleen inverted supercharger (if I can get over the rotor noise). Still loving this toy every day and always finding reasons to make a run! Any other converts out there?
