Hello from Ohio
Hi everyone Im new to the forum and a proud new owner of a white 1995 mustang gt, 5 speed.
I got it for my birthday (I just turned 20). Ive always been a car enthusiast. This is my 4th car (long stories, I only totaled 1 of those) but I been through a Buick Park Avenue, (2) 4th generation maximas (great cars). And my sister and I have been sharing a bonneville and its starting to get too cold to ride my motorcycle everywhere so my parents decided they would buy me a car for my birthday and after much searching, research anddebating with my father I finally pushed him over the edge to allow me to get this awesome car haha. The interior looks excellent a long with the exterior we had a mechanic and one of my dad's mustang guru friends check it over and its in great overall condition. 106,000 miles never driven in the winter. It needs new tires very badly especially with winter just around the corner, so I have some BF Goodrich traction t/a's on the way, it also had a minor radiator leak so a new one is going in very soon. So I just thought Id introduce myself, I hope to learn a lot on these forums and keep my car for a very long time. I have a few minor questions though to start, my dad's friend mentioned getting subframe connectors since its a unibody..what do you guys think? worth the money? and where would be the best place/ones to get?....second...what kind of oil do you recommend? we are not sure of the last time its been changed so I will be changing it very soon and wanted some suggestions. third and last question, It needs new pads/ possibly rotors...so what do you guys recommend, what kind and where do you recommend getting them? Thanks a lot for your help everyone, Ive been browsing the last few days and it looks like a great group of men and women.
