UNDECIDED IN ATL
Hi -
I still have my first car - 1967 pony - I am sooooo much younger then my car. It has been sitting under a tarp for the past 15 years and has almost no rust (minimal on bottom of drivers side door). A tree did fall on the roof last winter but it looks like the dent can be pulled without causing any damage. Here is my dilemma - Is it worth restoring or should I just sell it??? What are some of the deciding factors?? Anything would be appreciated!!
Thanks, Nikki

Hello, and welcome to the forums.
Does the engine in that 67 start? Even if it doesn't start, it'll probly need to be taken out and rebuilt. If you can't work that dent out you could get body parts from different after market companies. It won't fit perfect, so you'll have to do alittle bit of fabricating. You can sand down the body and get some chemicals to eat the rust. I think it's deffinately "do-able." I'm working on a car in pretty bad shape also. I think you could get it running.

Thank you so much for the reply. I'm not sure if the engine will start. Since it has been sitting so long, I wasn't sure what I would need to do (except put gas in the car) before I gave it a try. I have now decided to keep the car and try to restore it, I guess all I needed was a little positive re-enforcement. Thanks!!!
