Default dash lights

I own a06 gt. I also am in florida with a lot of sun. I know that there is a sensor that controls the brightness of the dash lights. Can anyone tell me where this is located and how to disconnect it
so my dash lights will be bright. This is only with out driving lights.

thanks

Are you talking about the dimmer? You can control the degree of brightness with the dimmer...it's located on the right of your light switch.
