just joined, need some opinions or hopefully facts

I drive a 2006 Pony Edition dark red daily.

just purchased an 80 HB to toy with.
Gonna rip the motor (6) replace with a carbed 302 I have.
While I'm in there, Tube Kmem, Control Arms, coilovers etc.
Working Torque Boxes, and replacing rear arms now, new springs etc.
It has the sub frames connected and an 8.8.

all I need to do is pick an automatic tranny? C4 or AOD and why?
I can get a used AOD including crossmem, etc for $400
A rebuilt C4 will be double that
Thoughts?

 

First Off Welcome to the Forum!!!! I would go with the AOD with the price of gas buy hey thats up to you!! Good Luck with it!!

 

Welcome to the forums! built C4's are better if you have to go w/ automatics :]
