Default need help

ok basicly i am open to all suggestions. i am looking for answers in classic mustangs. i cant decide which engine to run. my choices are 347 stroker, 427 stroker, or just get right down nasty and run a big block 429 or 460. can any one help me?

i also would like to know if anyone has converted to the big block and how hard was it to install, when the original motor was a 302? And if so can you use the original mounting braket or do you also have to change those. the car is in the paint shop and i would like to make my decision before i get it back.

Hey dude, I would strongly consider going with a 427 stroker, because you get the weight of a small block and the displacement of a big block, which is a bitchin' combination. It's a little pricey, but then again so is a big block. To answer your question, installing a big block in a Mustang which originally had a small block requires modifying the engine mounts, or there may be an aftermarket conversion kit, which I'm sure there is somewhere.
