Default starting problem

HI I have a 1998 mustang that sometimes when I try to start it does nothing. The lights, radio don't dim and there is no noise fromthe starter. Then other times it starts fine. Any idea?

Hopefully you have the problem solved by now since today is the 17th..... but for what its worth regardless of what the lights and radio are doing I would clean and tighted the battery terminals then check the wiring down at the starter. If everything is ok you may need a new switch.??
