Default Newbie Here

Okay here's the situation I don't have a Mustang...Yet.

Found out that my current car needs a new engine. Even if I invest in a new engine the car isn't worth much. I might as well get a new or new used car.Started thinking about yesteryear. Growing up we had a either old 68 or 69 blue Mustang. As a kid I thought it was the coolest thing. It needed a little work. For a year my Uncle in Law and his friends gave it a complete over haul and improved everything. It looked even cooler. I couldn't wait for my first ride in it. Rode the bus to school fully expecting to be picked up in this car. It never happen. Car was in an accident earlier that dayeverything was totalled. No one dares speak of that event.

I still look with awe when I see old and new Mustangs on the road. I need that ride again. It should havebeen the car I learned to drive on. I'm considering gettingone. Plan to drive it as my to work and local trips. How are they on mileage? Is there any thingmajorI should be aware fromtheclassic models? It doesn't cost more to repair them then any other car.Any important tips for a first time buyer.
