Default Hello, and I have a question

I am trying to get in to a mustang. This will be my 1st mustang. it is a 1965 Coupe A- code I believe with a 289 and automatic. It is not perfect. It has a number of spots and scratches in it's origional paint that have what appearts to be minor rust in them. It seems to need some front end work. It runs good. It also needs some upholstery work as well as a new dash as the origional has a crack. 67,287 or 167,287 miles I am not sure.

Can someone tell me what a reasonable price for this car would be???

Welcome. Here is Florida I had seen 60s Mustang similar to what you describe (it is pretty tough without pictures) go anywhere from $2,500 to $7,000.

If it was me, a driveable Stang in need of restoration, unless it is a rare car I wouldn't pay more than $3,000. Just my opinion.

She said they would like to get 4k out of it but I dont want to spend more than 3k, so that I have enough left to paint it right away as I hate the color and here in oregon the rain will not be kind on that rust
