Well I have about a gazillion forums that I monitor and participate in; so I am usually pretty hesitent about signing up and adding a new one to my list. But I just couldn't take it anymore, so I had to do it, and now here I am.
I dont know for sure when my new Stang will be in, but my dealer seems to think that I can expect May/June time frame. They seem pretty sure that this is a safe estimate. They are one of the biggest dealers around here so they have plenty of allotments, and I did get the C&U about 3 days after I ordered. They tell me that the reason mine will take this long (as apposed to the others they order all the time) is due to the IUP with the Red Leather. They told me that Ford is having a hard time keeping the Red Leather around so thats why the longer (for them) than usual wait. They have other Mustangs that they have ordered and they say that there normal turn around is between 8-10 weeks.
I know its kinda silly but I really wanted the IUP with the Red Leather, and I am not in a SUPER hurry for the new ride, in fact the longer it takes the more money I can save up for the Mods that I have planned for it as soon as it gets here.
Oh yeah, I have had other "Muscle" cars in the past. My favorite (besides the Stangs) was my 1974 Chevy Nova 454. Man what a power house it was.
