ok, you have to understand the only time I put my hand close to the engine is to pull th eoil dip-stick... I remove my air silencer today !!! Feel so good to have done it... </P>

sweet thats usually the first thing you wanna do now you can look forward to eithe a densecharger or cold air intake relatively inexpensive to buy or if you dont care about what your engine compartment looks like you can make one out of ABS pipe. very simple to do <edited><editID>crimson tide</editID><editDate>37903.6686458333</editDate></edited>

Dropped in a K&amp;N air filter today.</P>


I've been told on another forum that by removing the air silencer you lose 5hp. Any opinion on that ?</P>
