I am new to this forum and I would like some tips. I was a mechanic in the Airforce for 4 years and now I am a technician locally. I just purchased a 87 5.0 notch 5 speed. It is completely stock. I am going to replace the heads, upper and lower intake, exhaust, fuel system, a standard rebuild(pistons, gaskets, rings), suspension, gears, and rims and tires. I am looking for about 350 hp for now. Does anyone have some tips on where I should start. I am not plannning on spending a fortune. I am looking for some gt40 heads and upper/lower intake. Any help is appreciated.

I'm not going to stroke it. I have looked into it and it involves to much money. Eventually maybe.
