I found an exhaust system on brenspeed.com that i need advice on....one of them is axle back with out mufflers, and the other is mid mufflers and all the way back....if i choose the axle back and no muffler, will this effect my engines performance by deleting back preasure on a stock engine?will it sound better than the flowmasters i have now? what about the mid muffler system? i am trying to get my mustang to sound like a "mustang"....please help

 

Welcome to MF's, I would keep your flowmasters and maybe buy an H or X pipe. I thinking that your car will be too loud without mufflers. I'm particulary joined with the notion that if your car sounds fast,at least make sure itsfast. I live in a area congested with lots of Honda's and Nissan's with the most annoying sounding exhausts I've ever heard, but they don't have the power to back it up. Try posting your message in the 05 08 section of the forums. You'll get more feedback.
