Sold my C5 Corvette looking at Mustangs.
Hello everyone,
I am a big fan of Mustangs I haveowned a 94 and 98 both V6's back when I was in high school and loved them. Then I got into Corvettes and had a 96 and then a 98 which I just sold the 98 back in Oct of 07. I am now looking to get back into a Mustang. I have been looking at 06 and 07's. I am going to get the V6 since it will be my daily driver and the wife has set a budget [&:]. After having the C5 Vette I got my fix on power for now anyways. I have a two year old so the mustang will work with the back seat if I need to take her around in it. I just sold my other daily driver and hope to get into the Stang herepretty soon. I have a bunch of mods already thatI hope to do as well.. It only takes money to do it..right?
I have been reading this forum for the last few months and it has been great. I have been a member of the CorvetteForum for about 8 years now. I am looking forward to being active hereon themustangforum.
Anyway thats it for now. Glad I finally registered.
Thanks
Brett

Welcome to MF's Brett. Hope you find the right mustang. I found mine and still to this day, when I wash and wax her I get that same feeling from when I first bought her. Oh yea, and I sold my 71 Chevelle to buy her.
welcome to the forums. you'll love the s197's, they have a real solid feel to it. it's always nice to feel safe in the car, especially when caring for a loved one!
For the ones who said get the GT, read his posts, his had v6 Stangs before and has owned Vettes before, he knows what he wants and he wants a v6.
Back to the OP: Welcome to the forums and good choice on wanting a new v6. The new v6's are daylights better than the older ones of the 90's and early 2000's. The power isnt bad at all to be honest with you and with just a few mods will be just as fast as some older v8's. There are a few guys on here with badass v6's, so if you're looking to mod, ask them guys. Ones name is fazm, but I cant remember the other one, who has a white v6 that looks awesome. Again, welcome and enjoy your stay and be sure to check out the 2005-2008 section, and check under the 4.0 v6 part.
