Hello I have read this forum as a guest off and on for a while. I am here in East TN. We have a group with various cars in it andgo for rides once a month to various roads in our area. I would like to invite you to join us on our ride to run the Devil's Triangle Sunday 3/16. I am not trying to sell anything. We are a group of enthusiast that just like to go on roads in the area. We are meeting in the Krogers Parking lot on Northshore off the Pellissippi Pkwy at 11 am this Sunday. We will start rolling promptly at 11:30 am and head to our second pick-up spotbefore heading to Devil's Triangle. I will post in he SE section but if anyone is interested please pm me or post here as I do not want to break any rules by pusting a site to go to for further information.

Welcome to the forums...thanks for the invite but can't make it this weekend. East Tennesse huh...beautiful country. My families home is just over the mountain in Waynesville NC...wish I was there.

I am located in Knoxville. Sharps Chapel has some nice land up there

 

Wellthe March ride to the Devil's Triangle is over, but it was a great time again. The rides get bigger every time. By the time we left Oak Ridge we had 13 cars but definitely was not an unlucky number. Everyone departed safe and sound although I think one car may have had a problem with a vacuum line. Anyway the Devils Triangle in my opinion is rougher than the Dragon. It has curves to rival and the road and lack of shoulder requires All attention forward. The drive seemed to give the cars brakes a heavier toll as well as never before have we had brakes smell like they did today.

Anyway can't wait already for next month's ride. Although, I think for the next ride I am going to hang in back so I can try my other car. Everyone stay tuned for our next ride. Maybe we can keep on making them bigger and better. I will make a post in the south section with plenty of lead time if any want to join us next month. Not sure where we are going as it always seems to change.
