Default newbie needs help! (already???)

okay, new member posting for the first time. i've owned a '70 (deluxe) fastback with a 351W since high school, 1984. drove it for 2 years & decided it needed floorboards & a fresh coat of paint, which, at the time, i figured would take like a weekend, or maybe 2, if i hit any snags (i was 17!). mustang monthly didn't help much either-"...remove old floorpans (photos 1-3) & replace (photos 4-9). in next month's installment we tackle the fun stuff, paint & bodywork, as project resto-in-a-weekend continues...." after cutting out the old floorboards & trying to tack the new ones in with an arc welder (ya, ya, i was 18!!) i realized i was in over my head. it sat for 18 years, until last august when i finally bit the bullet, took out a loan & had a local shop begin a full-on resto. i'm going resto-mod, which brings me to my actual question:
i'm installing a 4R70W. will the crossmember for an AOD work? i've been looking over quite a few of the tech forums & haven't found an answer. yes, i am aware of the 2 bolt, windsor bell-housing compatibility concerns, & i have a baumann tcs as well. any help would be appreciated (gimme a break, i'm 37!!!), thanks.
