I have a 68 FB that Iv'e had since 84, high school driver presently going thru a restomod conversion. Using Eleanor body kit but is blue w/ white stripes. Stroked 347 with a Paxton supercharger. TCP front coil overs and rack & pinion and sub frames w/ x brace had to use Unique performance rear coil overs (availibility). Hughes performace AOD W/ Currie 9" rear and aluminum drive shaft. Cobra 03 13" disc brakes w/ 17" Chrome Edelbrock 454's. 9.5" rears w/ 275/40 F1's and 8" fronts w/245/40 F1's. damn that car is GORGEOUS !!! i feel the same way he does. glad to see someone whos had a car that long and taken their time and done it right. its just simply magnificent. thats the only word that can describe your car ! welcome to the boards.

 

Thanks for the kind words, in high school I wanted a VW cause that was the rage at the time. But gramps wouldn't give up one of his (3) so he found me this stang which was is great shape to begin with. I did a resto back in 92 changed from red to acura cobalt blue which was a shade darker than it is now. The color now is 03 ford blue from PPG. You can thank grandpa for me keeping this car as to I can never see myself parting w/ it now.
